I am a multidisciplinary artist and spatial curator exploring the relationship between art, material and atmosphere.
Working across sculpture, interiors and collected objects, I am interested in how spaces evoke emotion through form, texture and restraint. Rather than seeing art as something separate from architecture, I consider every element within a space to be part of a larger conversation — where sculpture, objects and materiality come together to shape atmosphere.
Much of my work begins with observation. A fold in weathered stone. Light travelling across a wall. The rhythm of historical architecture. The quiet weight of objects that have endured. I romanticise these overlooked moments, translating them into abstract compositions and carefully considered spaces that carry emotional rather than literal narratives.
Having studied Visual Arts and worked within interior design, I have developed an approach that sits between artistic practice and spatial curation. Rather than designing interiors in the traditional sense, I help define the visual identity of a space through concept development, material palettes, artwork, objects and thoughtful composition — creating environments that feel intentional, personal and enduring.
Born in Egypt and raised between cultures, questions of identity and belonging remain an underlying thread throughout my practice. Influenced by experiences across the Middle East, Europe and the United Kingdom, I am drawn to the space between histories, aesthetics and traditions, where multiple influences quietly coexist without needing to be resolved.
Through STUDIO RS, I create sculptural works, thoughtfully sourced collections and spatial experiences that invite a slower encounter with space — where material, craftsmanship and atmosphere become vehicles for reflection.
